A Look At Krista & Jeff’s Wedding
Monday, August 15th, 2011Like clockwork it’s been about six weeks after Krista & Jeff’s wedding and they now have everything in their hands, so it’s time I shared with the rest of you a little insight into Jeff & Krista’s Sudbury Wedding.
“James and Joce,
We’ve received our photo package…we absolutely love them all! We laughed, we cried, we ooohed and aaahed. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you very much. We’re very excited to share these with our friends and family.
Thanks again for the wonderful work you’ve done.”

Tracy & Ryan Are Getting Married
Tuesday, July 19th, 2011Last night Jocelyne and I headed to the Valley to hook up with Tracy & Ryan for their engagement session. Tracy was NERVOUS to say the least. I have no idea why, she’s beautiful and has a gorgeous smile. Paired up with her fiance Ryan we just couldn’t go wrong. We immediately noticed that these two were not shy to kiss while being photographed. As some couples swoop in for a quick “peck” like kiss, these two were the total opposite, and that’s what we love to see when photographing couples. I notice that I am trying to capture those moments before I am actually about to take the image. They might think that I am changing my camera settings or trying to find a new angle, but I am closely watching them waiting for that spontaneous moment where they are laughing, giggling or both. These are the images that I LOVE to capture.

Tuesday, July 12th, 2011Jovana & Bobby are getting married!
Thursday, May 5th, 2011We just finished the engagement session for Jovana & Bobby who are getting married next month (WOW! IT’S WEEKS AWAY). We just met the couple face to face a few weeks earlier to go over the final wedding details and I must say, there was a big change from then and now. Now don’t get me wrong, they are a great couple, smiling, giggling, you know, “the in love look” on their faces. The meeting was great. But Bobby was kinda quiet, and it’s the usual quietness that we see in grooms during consultations like this.
Tonight however……..was different. We got to see the true side of Bobby. True Bobby is FUN, and the more fun Bobby had the more fun Jovana had. The whole time you could see them feed off each others energy. The whole session was us laughing and being loud! It was AWESOME and we can’t wait for their wedding next month.
Thanks again to the both of you. We had a great time during the session. My stomach muscles still hurt.
Using that May Sun to warm up the downtown background.

And this sums it up when you let them do whatever they want. I love it!

Wedding Flashback to 2004.
Tuesday, April 12th, 2011Often we get requests for reprints from weddings and sessions that I have photographed years ago, and most of the time it ends up me sitting in front of my computer hrs later after I have gone through and browsed hundreds of images from previous sessions. I start flipping through our archives reminiscing about the sessions and the people we photographed and I just can’t stop. If you are a photographer, then you probably know what I mean, and if you have not done so already, go take a look at some of the images you created from years ago, it’s road down memory lane. Here are two bridal images from 2004, image on the left was here in Sudbury and the image on the right was in Scottsdale Arizona.

Sudbury Couple Session
Tuesday, October 12th, 2010Serge & Michelle wanted to take there relationship to the next level, so they booked us for a “Sudbury Couples Session” so that they could have another way to celebrate their relationship. They discovered this great place between Blezzard and Val Caron that had some amazing walking trails, clearings and beach sand access. While we were finishing up the session and heading back towards our cars I was impressed with the way the patch lead between rows of birch trees. Birch trees are not something I like to have in the photo as they are very distracting because of how white and contrasty they are with everything else, but this scene really was something to see. The sunlight was coming from our left and behind us cross lighting the trees. Any other time of day this scene would not have this impact. Anyways, it was a great way to finish off their session.

Vanja & Tony were married today.
Saturday, September 11th, 2010I am still grinning and doing my “Happy Photo Dance”. Today was a great day to get married. The weather was perfect with slightly overcast skies,a hint of a breeze and the temperature in the low low 20′s and we took FULL advantage of it all. Vanja did her “wedding homework” from how to stand and pose to where to put her hands when her husbands arms were around her. Most of the time we didn’t have to tell them anything, I would just tell her which way to turn and “BAM”! The perfect S-Curve (you photographers know what I am talking about). The guys were all in good form as well, with their unique but matching suites, to their non-matching multi-colored socks.
Joce and I have as much fun as the bride & groom will let us and with this wedding everyone we overflowed the bucket. Like all our weddings we try to make the experience enjoyable and memorable, and like all our weddings our bride and groom along with the wedding party and family make it so easy for us.
Vanja & Tony, we wish you the best and we hope you enjoy yourselves on your honeymoon. You both made today a lot of fun and reassured us why we love what we do especially with the some of the cool photo ideas you wanted to do today, like the “old fashion, stiff pose, stare blankly at the camera” photograph.

Consultation Capture.
Thursday, November 27th, 2008This happy couple just booked us to document their wedding in May of 2010. Little did Aaron and Michelle know that they would be photographed for their consultation capture before they left our studio. Aaron it was great to see you again, and Michelle it was a pleasure meeting you. Joce and I look forward to creating more images with the two of you.
