Wheeling and dealing to always bring more value to our wedding clients, Joce and I managed to get a great deal for wedding couples this year. Now with every package booked for 2011 and 2012 (including those that have already booked) we have now included a 30 inch Custom Canvas Gallery Wrap with your package (excluding the Intimate Affairs). We have also upgraded the 8×8 Albums to 10×10 Albums just to be extremely generous.

Brandon not only trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Team Submission Factory with me but he is also one of my highschool senior models for 2011. I don’t know where this kid get’s the time to relax with his busy schedule, BJJ 3 nights a week, wrestling practice a few times a week, an honor student at Lockerby High School (where he is taking extra courses related to the medical field). Such motivation and focus and he’s not even out of highschool. Stay tuned for images from Brandon’s First Senior session.

So I am here with my friends sitting beside Jillian and on her desktop is the below image. I was like, “that is really nice, who took that?” (and I was serious). She looked at me like I was a total idiot (and sometimes I am). I guess I photographed this last June and I completely forgot (see, she thinks we are good friends, but really we are not), just joking Jillian. Anyways, I thought I would hop on her computer and post this image of her 3 (soon to be 4) children.

Today was another successful shoot for MIC (Made In Canada) Restaurant soon to open in the Don Cherries location in New Sudbury. We previously photographed the main menu items and dishes, and today we finished off with some deserts and drinks. Unfortunately and fortunately the restaurant is in construction so we couldn’t shoot in the main sitting area like we did the previous session, so off to Pete’s house we went to use HIS kitchen and dining room. This worked out great as I had loads of options (from his cupboards and fridge) to use for background and complimentary additions to the delicious deserts and custom mouth watering drinks. These are all one of kind custom created items that will be featured at MIC and is only a small sampling of their complete menu. I now need to hit the gym after today and yesterday.
Bread Pudding the size of a brick!!! Sooo good.

Of course, the Caesars will not change.

This one tasted great!

Sour Grape in this one….had to taste it a few times.

The best homemade Naomi Bar I have ever had.

A great way to finish off the not with a decadent coffee

You know, I think are wives have finally realized that Rob and I are not normal when it comes to our photography (in general, they have realized that a long long time ago). We are still giddy like kids in an ice cream store with our new G11 Point and shoot Cameras. It’s amazing what you can do with your camera and 2 small flashes. Here in Ambergris Caye, opportunity knocks everywhere for us to pull out the small guns.
“I SCREAM YOU SCREAM WE ALL SCREAM ICE CREAM!”
“Excuz me sirs? sirs? SIRS! Can you pleas come off kiddy toys? Dey for no adults, only little kiddies.”
“yes mam….sorry”

Well today was another great day. The sun was out, it was a “LITTLE” warmer and of course we went diving again. This time though I was armed with my camera. Hit a great reef dive, and then after that we went snorkeling to Shark Ray Alley with loads of nurse sharks and rays. I just inquired about the fishing on this island and I have 3 choices. Reef, Deep and Flats. Well reef will be barracuda (which I have caught), deep will be grouper, jacks and mahimahi (which I have done) and Flats will be bone fish (something I have never done). So guess what, I will be bonefishing on the flats on the other side of the island someday this week. I just have to figure which one, and if I want bring Rob with me (the Anti Fish Whisperer. Oh yea, our other peice of luggage arrived today and Joce’s eyes have turned back to the beautiful green color, which is much more pleasing than the Satan Red.
Here is our pimped out ride we rented for the week.

Here are a few from my first try with my Canon G11

at the camera that is. When photographing couples I find myself liking the images where the couple are not looking at the camera, mid laugh, caught in the moment. Don’t get me wrong, looking at the camera is part of the process, but we like make sure we give our couples a good variety of both. It also helps the couple relax in front of the camera, especially at the beginning of our session.

Sometimes, while they are looking at the camera, you can capture that image where you know…as a couple… they “clicked”
