Boy Meets Girl + 2 Dogs.

Thursday, October 6th, 2011

“Wow, you guys have been photographing a lot of pets in the last few months haven’t you?”.  Yes.  Yes we have, and tonight was no different. When we met with Melanie for her wedding consultation we asked if her and Moe had any pets, and she informed us that they had two dogs.  “Well, bring them out for your engagement session then, we love pets!”.    Why should we break our portrait tradition this summer and photograph someone without their pets?  LOL.  Jesse & Tucker were two completely different dogs, but just like Moe & Melanie you could tell that they work well together.    All four of them seemed to be at ease in front my camera which made it very simple to create some great images.  Moe, Melanie, thanks again for the great session, we had fun.  We hope you bring your two furry friends to our Dog Day event this January.

Hailey & Dan Were Married Today | North Bay Wedding

Saturday, September 24th, 2011

Dan & Hailey had an outstanding wedding event today.  It did start out with some rain in the morning, but it quickly settled down when we photographed the girls early this morning.  On the way to the Church, it started raining again, and it down poured when Hailey was walking down the isle, but the sun was also shinning, so we knew it was a good sign.  The rest of the day was sunshine, warm weather, smiles and couples in love.  I love photographing in a new town as it always get’s the creative juices flowing, not to mention that we always have fun scouting out new locations a few hours before the wedding.  We pretty well tried to photograph it all.  From Yamaha Street bikes to dressed up Whippets it was a memorable day.  We also had our first chance this summer to photograph the ceremony in a church, as all our other weddings were outdoor ceremonies.  Hailey, Dan,  we would like to congratulate you both again on a beautiful wedding, your family, bridal party and friends were all a blast and Joce and I both enjoyed ourselves immensely.  Have a GREAT honeymoon!  Dan, take hold of your Queen!  And don’t overload on peanutbutter & cottage cheese. LOL.

Dealing with a BRIDEZILLA!

Wednesday, September 21st, 2011

Some brides handle stress of a wedding day better than others and some brides just flat out lose it.  Andrea had a bone to pick with her brother on her wedding day and I was there to capture the moment.

I normally will not post images until the wedding package is finished, but after playing around with this one I thought I would share it with you all.  We had a great time creating this image and yes, there is a story behind the photo and why we did it, but you will have to ask Andrea about that. :)

P.S.  I thank my lucky stars that I have not had a Bridezilla in YEARS!!!

Nick & Andrea Know How To Too-Doo-Loo!

Saturday, September 10th, 2011

If you are wondering what “Too-Doo-Loo” is then I suggest you ask Nick and his boys as they are star performers in this art.  Andrea learned first hand how to do it after Nick gave her a brief performance during their wedding photography session.

We just finished documenting the wedding of  Nick & Andrea, 2 people that know how to have fun on their wedding day.  Always smiling, always laughing, their day unfolded without a hitch.  From handcuffing the bride at the altar to boogieing on down at their grand entrance, these two know how to be the life of the party.  Let’s not forget their kickass wedding party as well as the girls looked gorgeous and the guys screamed coolness.  We had a blast with everyone today as it was never a dull moment with our couple.   Congratulations to the both of you again Nick & Andrea.  I think the image below sums it all up.  Thanks for a blast!!!

Tyler & Emili Are Married | Kananaskis Wedding

Sunday, August 28th, 2011

Well, the festivities are done but the party is just starting.  We are now in our huge *ss condo in Banff Alberta, relaxing, playing pingong, pool, and cooling off with some cold beverages.  Tyler & Emili had an outstanding wedding yesterday at the bottom of the Rockie Mountains at the Nakoda Lodge in Moreley Alberta.  The sun was shining, the wind was blowing and everyone was having an amazing time.   Tyler has been a friend of mine since before highschool, and I knew that I would not be able to sit still and not take images of him and his gorgeous bride Emili.  They gave me some time after the ceremony to create some stunning images in some very unique locations.  Almost getting trampled by killer bulls and keeping an eye out for the vicious cougar kept things rolling at a steady pace.

Tyler, Emili, your wedding was one for the books. The two of you were ment for each other.

Congratulations again to you both.

A Sudbury Couple

Tuesday, August 9th, 2011

Krista & Rob are the type of couple that will tell you they don’t photograph well together but will prove you wrong with every click of the shutter.  We just love couples that manage to create their own moments in front of the camera without us prompting them in any way or they think I am fiddling with my camera settings when really I am just waiting for that right moment when they think I am not looking.  I have said it before and I will say it again, I LOVE the images of couples where they are not looking at the camera, acting like we are not around, cuddling together when they think we are not looking, those make the best “captured moments” images.  Krista, Rob, thanks again for a great session, the two of you “fit” well together, in pictures and out.  Congrats to the two of you again.
