A Look At Krista & Jeff’s Wedding

Monday, August 15th, 2011

Like clockwork it’s been about six weeks after Krista & Jeff’s wedding and they now have everything in their hands, so it’s time I shared with the rest of you a little insight into Jeff & Krista’s Sudbury Wedding.

“James and Joce,

We’ve received our photo package…we absolutely love them all! We laughed, we cried, we ooohed and aaahed. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you very much. We’re very excited to share these with our friends and family.

Thanks again for the wonderful work you’ve done.”

Vicky & Larry Were Married Today – Sudbury Wedding

Saturday, August 13th, 2011

Well it was the second weekend in a row that I have been soaked on a wedding day.  Fortunately today was because of the rain and not because of the 36 Degree sweat I accumulated last Saturday LOL.  Yes, it was a wet one today, but Vicky & Larry along with their bridal party were up to the challenge today, getting out in the rainy streets of Sudbury to create some awesome images.  The rain decided to stay with us for the entire day, but that only meant that Larry & Vicky needed to cuddle in closer to keep each other warm and dry.  Thanks again you two, even though it was cloudy, wet & rainy, your wedding day was full of warmth and sunshine.

Tracy & Ryan Were Married Today

Saturday, August 6th, 2011

Well it was another Kick*ss wedding in Sudbury Ontario today.  Tracy & Ryan sure did pick a hot one, but that was just fine since their ceremony was outside at the Bell Park Gazebo, and we will always pick sunshine over rain any day.  Tracy & Ryan were totally into the photography, and even though we were all “soaked” from the heat, they kept on top of the game the whole day, even when they wanted to trek 20 minutes into the  bush for some nature style images (which was well worth it).    Having a bridal party along with the bride and groom that always energetic, upbeat, fun, and are game for anything, keeps the creative photography juices flowin.  Thanks again Tracy & Ryan,  Joce and I had a great day with the both of you. We wish you the best on your honeymoon, can’t wait to hear about it. :)

Cherish & Clint Were Married Today.

Thursday, July 28th, 2011

What a way to spend a Thursday!!!! Cherish & Clint wanted to get married on the day they met which was July 28th, so………………they did.  Now that we are finished it actually feels like it’s Saturday hahaha.  Clint showed up this morning sp0rting his VERY shiny, extra detailed, badass truck (Dayum, that truck looked good) along with a million dollar smile.  The girls were “Pretty In Pink”, looked hot, and were all laughs and smiles during their session and fortunately the weather was great with overcast skies and a slight breeze.  From Azilda to Timberwolf we covered a lot of ground creating kickbutt images all the way.  With dust covered trails we bolted down the course with our offroading golf carts (only loosing one groomsmen during a sharp corner) searching out the best holes for the wedding party to strike a pose.

We had a blast today with loads of fun and laughter.  Cherish & Clint were awesome and the bridal party was entertaining and energetic.  Thanks again everyone for making this wedding FUN!  We truly enjoyed ourselves.

Tracy & Ryan Are Getting Married

Tuesday, July 19th, 2011

Last night Jocelyne and I headed to the Valley to hook up with Tracy & Ryan for their engagement session.  Tracy was NERVOUS to say the least.  I have no idea why, she’s beautiful and has a gorgeous smile.  Paired up with her fiance Ryan we just couldn’t go wrong.  We immediately noticed that these two were not shy to kiss while being photographed.  As some couples swoop in for a quick “peck” like kiss, these two were the total opposite, and that’s what we love to see when photographing couples.  I notice that I am trying to capture those moments before I am actually about to take the image.  They might think that I am changing my camera settings or trying to find a new angle, but I am closely watching them waiting for that spontaneous moment where they are laughing, giggling or both.  These are the images that I LOVE to capture.

A Peak At Jovana & Bobby’s Wedding

This was our first wedding of the season and it was something completely different from our everyday weddings.  Serbian traditions are very colorful, music filled and family oriented.

Now THAT’S a Kiss!

Friday, July 8th, 2011

Carole & Guy’s first kiss was years ago at the end of their first date, and at that time I guess it wasn’t in the cards for these two lovebirds to be together.  Years later (YEARS LATER) their paths crossed again one evening while they were waiting in the same lineup, and I guess it was SOME kiss as Carole’s friends blurted out “THAT’S THE KISS? THAT’S THE GUY?”

Today they had many chances to recreate that first kiss as Carole & Guy were married earlier this evening with an intimate affair at Bell Mansion.    We revisited the park bench where Guy told us that one time while they were sitting on that same bench looking out over Ramsey lake, he knew that Carole was the woman he would marry.  And he was right.

Carole, Guy, thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon and evening, Jocelyne and I can’t explain how much fun we had with the three of you (Bella Included).

Bella’s typical reaction to the kiss.

Krista & Jeff Were Married Today

Saturday, June 25th, 2011

Well someone put in the good word to the weather fairy today that’s for sure.    We just finished documenting the wedding of Krista &  Jeff and wow, did we have a blast!  Sometimes those cloudy days can be a wedding photographers dream, especially when we wanted to hit up locations that just don’t look the best in full sunshine.  Krista & Jeff wanted more “Nature” photos for their wedding, just like their engagement session (You can view the blogpost here) so we opted for locations that had a lot of greenery, trees and water.    The rain held off, the wind was slow, the bugs stayed away and Krista & Jeff worked the camera like they were pro models, even the wedding party were in great spirits and didn’t pass up the opportunity to make some noise. Thanks again everyone for a great wedding, we hope you had as much fun and Joce, Vince and I had.

Natasha & Chris were married today.

Saturday, June 18th, 2011

WOW, what an AWESOME wedding we had today.  Besides being a gorgeous outside we also had an amazing bride & groom, some kickass locations and a bridal party that made the whole day just fly by. From goats that pee on couches, to horses that don’t know when to keep their noses out of the pictures, it was never a dull moment.  We also had Vince from Royal Productions along with us today to document some key moments on video.  Natasha, Chris, and to all the bridal party members, thank you for an amazing day, we still can’t get over how fast it quickly flew by, we truly enjoyed ourselves.
