Jocelyne and myself would like to wish all of you a very safe and happy holiday.  We will see you in the New Year.

This one would definitely be in the running.  So small yet so cute, dog’s like this just make you want to pick them up and take them home.

This afternoon we headed outdoors with Natalie & Dean to create some memorable maternity images that had more of an artistic feel to them.  Armed with our winter jackets (should have had mitts and a toque) we roamed from the studio to bell park with a few stops along the way finding different nooks and crannies that we could get this couple to snuggle and keep each other warm.    The last one (the one below) is more of an environmental maternity that we photographed  at the waters of  Bell Park just as we were wrapping up the session.  Thanks again Natalie & Dean.  With you two in the Hodgins Photography books and your 3 dogs, we look forward to meeting your newest addition to your family.

I just couldn’t resit capturing a portrait of these two friends.  Everyone who owns a pet know that they are more than that, they are our closest friends.

Well we had the fortunate opportunity to photograph yet another portrait for the Kaltiainen family.  Ahhh, seems just like yesterday that we were documenting their wedding, or photographing Natalie’s Maternity Session or creating a timeless portrait of their Newborn Baby, and now we can add their latest Family Portrait to the list.   We headed out to Whitewater lake in Azilda hoping to get a few images with some leftover leaves.  It was cold.  Did I say it was cold?  I meant it was COLD!  But the kids were great, the parents were cool and we managed to capture some outstanding images for the Kaltiainen Family.  I could have stayed and chatted to them for hours in the parking lot…………but it was cold. haha.

Natalie, Neil.  Thank You again for letting us create this family portrait for you.  It means a lot to us to  have you as repeat clients.

Darcie and Ryan brought their little bundle of joy “Tanner” into the studio this afternoon to create Tanner’s first portraits.  Darcie came prepared with ideas of photographs that she wanted to capture.  Below is one of them showcasing Tanner’s little feet sporting Darcie & Ryan’s wedding rings.

If you kid doesn’t  sit still during the photography session, you have my permission to hold them upside down and shake shake shake.   This was her favorite game with dad.
