JAMES HODGINS PHOTOGRAPHY

You have heard over and over that when you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything right?  Well so far Nicole is doing just that.  She has goals, and her goals kick *ss. Literally.    For someone who has only been in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for just over a year she is taking the sport by storm.  In the last year she has won the Renzo Gracie Invitational with all matches won by submission in under 45 seconds (and zero points scored on her), she was the Provincial OJA Champion in Aurora Ontario, and this past Feb 26th, she received her Blue Belt on the podium by Dan Moroney of Bravado Jiu Jitsu.  Oh ya, she was also the Champion at that event as well winning all 5 matches with zero points scored on her.  So what’s next for this warrior?  She has her eyes set on becoming the first Female to represent Canada in  Jiu Jitsu and is training hard with Team Submission Factory and Team Shredder to achieve this goal

Wheeling and dealing to always bring more value to our wedding clients, Joce and I managed to get a great deal for wedding couples this year. down memory lane that is.  Recently we had one of my previous brides come in and order more images from their wedding.  I photographed Jason & Sylvie Tripp back in 2005 where we did all the formal images before the ceremony.  Back then the Bell Mansion was a beautiful place to photograph weddings and they were pretty well booked every weekend.  I remember there being 6 photographers with wedding parties on the grounds photographing and we would all rotate around mansion picking our spots.  I went through the whole wedding again and remembered the day all over.  I thought I would snag a few images and post them here to share with you.  Enjoy.

Here are a few more images from my fall sessions.  I completely forgot about these 2 images as well.  As we were waiting for the other horses to trot their way into the Barn the sun was starting to set low behind them which created some very warm tones and some outstanding light.  I quickly braced my shoulder up against the side of the barn and snapped off images as they were running past me.  I then turned to my left and noticed the sun striking Jocelyn and Lennox.  A few quick grabs was all it took for these 2 images.  Same lighting, just different angle.

Jocelyne and myself would like to thank EVERYONE for taking the time to help out with our Dog Day.  We are happy and sad to say that we are sold out.  We wish we could do more sessions in the day but we had to cap it off to 20.  We honestly did not think we would get this much participation this fast (Sold out in less than 36 hours) but we are so pleased with the numbers.  For those of you who missed the chance, please subscribe to our blog and be notified if there are any cancellations.  For those of you that did book, we look forward to photographing your fleabags.
