Here are a few more images from a recent maternity.  This is a very delicate time in a woman’s life and the key to capturing beautiful maternity images is trust.  Your client HAS to feel comfortable.  Not only in front of the camera, but in front of you as well.  Joce and I have made this a huge priority in our studio, to take the time to get to know our clients, figure out exactly what they want as far as final images and product, and learn how they react to being in front of the camera.  I love photographing this stage in a woman’s life.  It is so elegant, beautiful, and rewarding (when you see the expressions on their faces when you show them the images).  For you expecting mothers out there, don’t be afraid to call our studio and talk to Joce about our maternity sessions.  We have a huge variety of products that you might not have thought about that can be beautifully displayed in your home.  The second image below will be a 30 inch wall canvas in our studio.

Well I went and visited the SPCA and Pet Save yesterday and we are now officially offering all Adoptions a James Hodgins Photography Signature Pet Portrait Session for FREE.  If your thinking of getting a pet, then why not save one?  Last year Pet Save did over 1000 adoptions. WOW!  If you do adopt from these two organizations you will get an exclusive offer from our Studio.

Fiona here is what we like to call a “firecracker with fur”.  We stuffed her with so many doggy treats that by the end of the session she outright refused to eat anymore.

Tonight we finished Josee & Jason’s engagement session out at their property on Bear Lake.   It had an abundance of different locations and “props” that we could incorporate into the session.  Learning that Jason had the same sense of humor as I did it didn’t take us long to come up with some odd images.  After we finished the session I had to create these 2 images because it’s not everyday you find a plastic spring horse ride nearby.  Stay tuned for more images from their engagement session.

Well, we have had a busy few days with the kickoff of our High Key Studio Special.  We have had sooooo many great families take advantage of this promotion, and it has been a pleasure photographing them all.  keep checking back with this blog as we will posting more.
