Here is a quick image I captured during one of our family sessions last week. It only takes a few minutes, but IMO is an important portrait to capture if the family has a pet.

With a lot of our family portrait sessions we encourage the family to bring their pets along for the ride. Pet’s are family too didn’t you know? We love photographing the furry ones during our session, and trying to capture their personalty is half the battle. Here a few images of some of the pets at our recent family sessions.

One of our 2011 wedding couples brought in their beautiful Bull Mastif “AnnaBelle” in for our dog day event. Although she was a bit shy, she quickly warmed up to us and allowed me to capture some stunning images of her. An image like this would be GORGEOUS of as a 40 inch panoramic canvas. Who say’s pet pictures can’t be art?

The Animals Are Happy

At least all the ones at the Sudbury SPCA on Notre Dame are. We dropped off all the bags of dogfood, catfood, litter and milkbones (2 car loads) and all the donations as well. They are OVERWHELMED with the support from all of you and our Dog Day Event. Thanks again everyone!! More images to follow.

Dog Day 2011 Was a SUCCESS!

Thank you to everyone again who participated. We raised over $850 for the Sudbury SPCA along with 2 boxes of milkbones, 2 bags of cat litter, 2 bags of cat food and 23 bags of dog food woot woot!! Here is a quick behind the scenes video for you to checkout.

Dog day has come and gone and we had an AMAZING turn out! THANK YOU to everyone who participated in this years Dog Day Event. Joce and I would also like to thank Darla again for being this years Dog Whisperer, we couldn’t have done it without her. I will be posting more pics soon with totals on the event so stay tuned. A Teddy Bear Portrait

Well he’s not really a Teddy bear, but he sure was fluffy like one. We just finished photographing Teddy’s SPCA portrait not 10 minutes ago here at the studio. April adopted Teddy 3 weeks ago from the Sudbury SPCA (where Teddy has been vacationing for the past couple of days). Even though Teddy is already 5 years April couldn’t resist those big bright eyes and that charming smile. Thanks April for opening your heart and home to Teddy and thanks again for taking advantage of our Adopt A Pet Promotion.

A Sudbury (Winter) Engagement

Jennifer, Charles and Coco braved the Northern Ontario weather, through sleet and hail, snow and rain, they made their way downtown to enjoy a quick, cold fun filled engagement session. Oh boy was it cold and snowing, but it did make for a great session. Even though I had to have them hold their breaths while I tripped the shutter button they did discover a new talent of holding your breath and smiling at the same time. It was Coco though who really didn’t seem amused that we took him out of his cozy warm truck to be involved in the whole process.
