This one would definitely be in the running.  So small yet so cute, dog’s like this just make you want to pick them up and take them home.

Here is a quick image I captured during one of our family sessions last week.  It only takes a few minutes, but IMO is an important portrait to capture if the family has a pet.

With a lot of our family portrait sessions we encourage the family to bring their pets along for the ride.  Pet’s are family too didn’t you know?  We love photographing the furry ones during our session, and trying to capture their personalty is half the battle.  Here a few images of some of the pets at our recent family sessions.

Well maybe not, but “Jersey” a Bernese Mountain Dog was all tongues and smiles during his photosession with us.

Here is another image from our Dog Day Event.  I loved all the images we got from this pooch, each one showed a different side of her personality.

Sometimes you get a bunch of dogs that can just sit, stay and listen.  When this happens, you can forget about the ducttape, crazy glue, and hot glueguns.

One of our 2011 wedding couples brought in their beautiful Bull Mastif “AnnaBelle” in for our dog day event.  Although she was a bit shy, she quickly warmed up to us and allowed me to capture some stunning images of her.   An image like this would be GORGEOUS of as a 40 inch panoramic canvas.  Who say’s pet pictures can’t be art?
